Anyone bought one of these or collect 1/18 models. My Chrome Yellow HQ just arrived in the post and got to say Biante are getting much better with the detail. Engine is far better detailed with hoses and plug leads, bonnet has spring hinges, upper tailgate has slide arms as per original and even has seat belts now.... fairly accurate detailing also except for the armrests on the doors... HQ Sandman shouldn't have them.

That's ok, my Contessa Gold HJ Sandman has Chrome tail light surrounds which pisses me off to no end....

I haven't bought any utes yet, have been tempted by the Aquarius HX though... Been waiting for a Jamaica Lime HJ to come out..

Shouldnt have to considering how much they cost. I was in touch with Biante about the hq.....seems my informing them of hq specific things fell on deaf ears.

Aquarius utes can still be found at a good price on ebay ...cotillion white utes used to be cheap as chips..... kept holding off getting one...ended up paying through the teeth for one recently.....those ones are getting harder to source. Mambo vans are all over the place in price. Sometimes could be found for $500....then others want $1300 for them...go figure

I'm making a 1:18 of my trailer and found a parts hx Ute shell.....needed tail lights and bumperettes, scored these two for $40 on ebay... Reckon one will make a cool business card holder.... Or something

I did have a big diecast collection of cars i think i had up to 82 models all up some 1/18 some 1/43 but the the cleaner didnt want to clean them any more (dust) sold them all
only kept my Warwick Yellow Monaro and my Seawitch left

Yeah, I got that for Christmas along with the Sea Witch. As soon as the man cave is finished they are going on the shelf.
