because its out of the gmh mould...holden was still having them done and thats what they looked like ..no chrome edging etc...the mould was stuffed and is still not much better..
he is only asking $30 more than what you pay for one now from rares...and its still the holden mould..
im amazed they havent started to call it a gmh restoration product.

Ok what about the warning lights? Did holden change the way they done the warning lights?

Lights are crap. Pull marks all through it (dents etc). If holden where selling these "repros" they need to be shot.

i only said that it was out of the holden mould..it took rares years to fix that mould..it was rooted...as for the lights that would be a rares thing..

like i said,holdens tooling and someone elses bits but it was still in a gmh box or had the gmh stickers/part numbers on the box and it was sold by holden...therefore it isnt and wasnt a reproduction.

In my opinion it still crap. If holden put their part number on that box thats sad. But than again does not supprise me with some of the "holden" ok'ed parts......

I was talking to rares yesterday and suggested how to improve them and also making them suit HJ/HX also. See what happens..... Id still pay $1000 for a NOS facia over paing $200 for the repro....
