I had the VE Calais V sedan and went straight to the VF Calais V Sport wagon when the lease ran out. The difference is huge and i would strongly recommend that if you are going to go for a Calais, then don't touch a VE at all...ever....unless its given to you for free. The VF options completely out gun the VE in every area and its cheaper. I have had my MY14 Sport Wagon for nearly 2 years now and I'm still happy with everything about it. I don't have any other cars to compare against and I'm sure Ford and others would put up some good cars, but I can comment more highly on the VF Calais V. Also, make sure you look at the V model, not the base Calais.
