No. Whenever GMH started to put ADR29 on passenger vehicles the passenger vehicle doors had intrusion bars. Commercials even to the end of WB didn't have intrusion bars. So a HZ passenger door is very different to a HZ commercial one. ADR29 became mandatory on 1/1/77 but GMH as always bought it in slightly earlier but maybe not as HX passenger vehicles appear to have gone to BHX after 12/76 but commercials stayed as AHX until the end of HX.

We bought a NOS Grill from Mook I think he sold it to me for $300 about 4 years ago and goat brought it up to the van Nationals at Mildura last year. Bought a shroud for the fan from Ozwreck which was NOS can't remember the price though. We come across a few things at swaps and put them away, bosch indicator stalk I have a spare one of those in case we need it. We bought two sets of NOS mudflaps, one is one the red van and the other still in a box I paid $450 for both about 3 years ago.

I got a few bits years ago on eBay for bugger all. Two nos Bosch indicator stalks and a nos WB Kingswood headlight assembly. Plus the plastic infill that goes between the grill and bumper on a WB. WB 4 speed gear knob as well. All
    nos.
I had a nos set of yellow needle quad gauges too. They had one mounting tab broken off. I sold them though.

I paid $300.00 for the last NOS (supposedly) tailgate handle on the planet. Seemed like a lot when I got the whole van for 10 times that, but I needed it, so......
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

I imagine that rebuilding a car with the idea of using all NOS parts like Jason is, you'd have to have pretty deep pockets going by the value of leads alone. Fortunately for my pocket I've never been inclined to build a car to that standard, just to a standard that is good for use on the road.

The other major drama with some NOS stuff that has been around over the last 20 years is lots of it came out of reject stock held in containers at GMH. People bought the whole containers full of reject parts, and they were rejects for a reason. As an example I bought a NOS HK Monaro tail-lamp assembly on Ebay 15 or so years ago, it was cheap and as it was Monaro not GTS the alloy housing was of no use to me but the lenses were and also being NOS it still had its original red paint on it so I could use it for colour matching for the GTS tail-lamps and boot moulding. I tried it recently on a HK Kingswood (as these are the same as Monaro) and surprise, it didn't fit properly! It was a reject part for a reason.
I've seen a lot of NOS door skins, panels etc that were also rejects. A lot of the NOS Torana stuff that was around will be the same, poor buggers that paid $2000 for an LC grille for example would have got a rude shock when they tried to fit it. The best stuff is old dealer stock or from old panel shops.
