with NOS once you pop you cant stop... otherwise it becomes a little tacky with for example nos facia, second hand door handles, chinese door trims, nos arm rests, rares steering wheel, second hand crash pad, second hand radio, nos glove box lid, painted console blah blah blah. good second hand stuff will at least look 'natural'

restoring with NOS could probably see you build two for the price of 1. that being said. i wish my pockets were deep enough but I could never only have 1 car gene. i'd get so sick of it

Oh I will drive mine! That's why we build cars right!

Geeze NOS is a bit to rich for me. Good second-hand or some of the repro stuff works on my cars. Even that's pricey enough as it is...

Though I did pick up 3 H4 LH Torana headlights at an old servo sale for $5 each a while ago. The bloke didn't know what they were from, just wanted them gone.

I paid $400.00 (+ $100.00 for hand delivery to my door) for a top tailgate in almost perfect condition today. Absolutely zero rust or dings.

    I'm happy....
