Engine looks to be original to the car.... cast on 26th August 77 which is correct for an Oct 77 car...

Decals look to be digital printed....

I wouldnt say its a back yard paint job on the van, if it is I would be happy to do one like that. It is just not show quality. There was dust on it and to his credit it wasnt washed and had dust on it.
I dont want influence his sale in anyway and the pictures are just for looking at for interest sake.

Also have to add that he was a nice bloke and only too happy to let me crawl all over his van and take photos. He also noticed my back tyre was going flat when I went to leave and kindly blew it up for me. Picked up a tech screw in it

Got it fixed in Dubvegas on the way home and got all the general info on local sandmans from the tyre fitter to boot!

from the pictures i saw the date code on the block was correct and the chassis matches the tags so i would say yes on what we have seen..waiting for a reply from byron..
