    That maybe so, still can't call themselves tradesmen, no time no trade.

    That's true. It's also true that there are also plenty of wankers out there that are not tradesmen but in their own lunchtime they think they are and f@*k up everything they touch too. I get around your problem by only using qualified tradesmen who do know what they are doing. Problem solved. Again, only people who successfully complete an apprenticeship are tradesmen.

    Aint that the truth but it seems you dont need to waste 4 years as an apprentice anymore
    well thats what i am seeing in the building trade
