I know the plumbing trade has changed completely since I completed my apprenticeship in 1976. I have long been out of the trade now, however a lot of the skill's I was taught are not used now. They have been replaced with new quick and easy part's, which of course are far less labour intensive. I wish this technology was around back in my day.
