Gee, the forum is snow going...

Seeing the forum is a little quite here's a useless thread about what was interesting for me today! (and yes I meant to write "Gee, the forum is snow going..." as the title!)


First time we have had a decent fall of snow in central Bathurst since I've been living here. This is my property this morning.

My wife and daughter loved it and went mad building and throwing. The grandkids turned up also to help later in the day.
I noticed the Snow at around 3.30am this morning and was still snowing. It was pretty magical seeing it blanket everything in sight.

It wasn't much fun climbing poles today though.

All the kids around the place looked to have fun and there's lots of snowmen around still.

Love the snow might take the kids for a drive down the southern highlands tomorrow. Looks like all our sporting fields are closed tomorrow

very jealous of the snow! its killing me i cant snowboard this year cause of shoulder surgery coupla months back and to make it worse the missus won a snow trip this year...hopefully hit the slopes again next year

The snow was so widespread too, all the way up to Stanthorpe. I am so glad I don't have to work in those freezing condition's anymore.

Was at the brother and sister in law's at Lawson this morning and decided to take a quick run up to Katoomba for a quick squizz and let my 5 year old experience snow for the first time with his cousins. There was about 5-6 inches of snow at the footy field just off (but not visible from) the highway.

As you can see he doesn't quite 'get' gloves just yet...

I'm in katherine nt no snow but did get down to 4 degrees a couple of nights ago,know thats cold for the top end.

Innuendo if you didn't mention the location of your photo I would have said it was from the US or Northern European. We don't really associate snow with Australia as much in our climate as much as the people on the otherside of the equator.
