Long and short box/bed pickup truck. As Terry said, a ute is all one piece from A pillar to taillight. Technically you could call those late model Ford Falcon commercials a styleside.
I don’t understand how this has come into our language in the last 5 years. Before that no one called a Holden one tonner a ute! They were always a “tonner”, short for one tonner. A ute was a ute and a van a van.
Probably just blame the internet for proliferation of mistakes I guess.

Yes good pick up on the lowering blocks, the complete car resto is an attempt to be the closest to how it was delivered out the factory. I have the dealer rear window sticker and the start up instruction which hangs off the indicator stalk, but the ride height was the one thing i have altered and its 1 1/2 inches lower both front and back. It’s an easy swap back but I think it looks so much better sitting a little lower.
Owners Card "Important Message to Owner" hung from the headlight switch from the dealers yard. They have a slit from the top to the round punched hole for easy install. They also have a date code or other identifying features that give up the model it's made for when you know what to look for. I have no issue with the lowering of the car - they need it over factory spec!
