A bloke I went to school with in Darwin in the early 80's, his dad had a very similar HJ sandman to that one.

Was his name Jones?

Edit, I guess it would depend whether you're talking pre '83 or post 83 that you potentially remember the van.

Memory is not what it was, plus partook of some fine erb back then. I would have to find the box with all the old school crap and photos to be sure. Do remember doing circle work on the beach and bonnet surfing with it though.
