    It's not "just a thread change". The location of the hose fitting is also totally different.

    If you fit WB calipers to HQ to HZ in place of original disc calipers, the hose comes off the chassis behind the upper control arm mount, the same as drum brake cars (for those who have done a drum to disc conversion).

    The other thing is, if you fit WB calipers with WB hoses, you then need to change the pipe nut at the chassis end as well as change the length of the pipe. Either that or get a custom hose made with metric at one end & imperial at the other.

    Also, AFAIK the WB master cylinder has the same 1-inch bore as HQ-HZ even though it looks totally different in design.
