Why would you cut it up? I'll swap you a rust-free HJ ute body for it if yours is OK.

Don't kill another van, there's still plenty of utes out there......!

18V trim is a good indicator. Check with HHS.
If you cut that up you are mad. Doesn't matter if it's a Sandman of not. The days of cutting up vans ended about 20 years ago.

One of the early HZ's GVW for a XX7 sandman is correct for early HQ. Tyre placard is correct for HZ XX7 sandman. Only thing it could be with that GVW is an XU4. But the tyre placard is not for XU4.

Don't cut it up! There is a extremely good chance its a Flamenco Red HZ XX7 Sandman!

WB - 18V in HZ doesn't matter. It wasn't unique to the base model and sandman like it was in HX.

Yeh. Keep your hands in the air where everyone can see them and don't make any sudden moves

Jason could it be an XX7 but due to being an early HZ it may have been a mis-stamp / mistake?

Found this on another site written by Byron, it is about a HX but may help

"In the above example it could never be an XU4 unless it was built for export to NZ as 18V is Sandman only in HX HOLDEN. Most XU4 HOLDEN wouldn't have the door switches either, or GTS dash or GTS wheels or headlining. XU4 probably wouldn't have carpet either."

I'm pretty shaw its a Sandman Boxhead so put down the grinder and back away slowly. 18V on the trim is your answer. Go find Byron to solve the mystery.
