    Upper tailgate handle

    Team, I am still looking for upper tailgate handle, doesn't matter about the lock. just so long as the handle doesn't rotate fully on the shaft.
    I am in Perth WA. cheers

    If Rares could work out how to manufacture these.... but obviously its a slim market, is it the same handle on HG-HK? I wonder, its gotta be close?

    These are pretty rare nowadays and anyone who has a spare is holding on to it. Try this, they do come up from time to time.

    Yeah, all upper handles are the same. You'd think there would be a big enough market....

    Don't worry as soon as I get mine sorted Rares will have one on the market !

    I was in Rares this week and the guy behind the counter told me they are in the process of remanufacturing these - maybe 12 months?

    Plus another 2 years to rejig the design after the first run doesn't fit properly.

    Fixed mine, drilled the outer JUST thru to the shaft and tapped the outer, inserted a dog point grub screw [Loctite] and filed it off. Works perfectly.
