Working as a mechanic in Brisbane about 20 odd years ago, we had an old fella ( customer ) that had a sweet metallic blue VL turbo he had owned since new. I had done a service on it and he mentioned that he was thinking about selling it. I was down at the bank that afternoon chasing a loan. It would have been about 7 or 8 years old at that stage and had less than 50K klms on it. Absolutely loved that car. Wish I still had it.Actually sold a schmick VB V8 for it.
