    Still find it a shame that our auto industry is essentially dead. As a small nation, we have come a long way and given another 20yrs, we couldve made some very special vehicles that could compete with the best of them.....but alas, its not to be. Such a shame.

    Love those VK Brocks though

    They did make some cool cars the VL Calais was one of my faves owned one for 15 years great car

    Working as a mechanic in Brisbane about 20 odd years ago, we had an old fella ( customer ) that had a sweet metallic blue VL turbo he had owned since new. I had done a service on it and he mentioned that he was thinking about selling it. I was down at the bank that afternoon chasing a loan. It would have been about 7 or 8 years old at that stage and had less than 50K klms on it. Absolutely loved that car. Wish I still had it. Actually sold a schmick VB V8 for it.

    Nissan built unreal 6 cylinders. Holden got it right when they sources them. Should have used them instead of those v6 engines.

    Main colour looks like chardonnay gold met, usually would have same on bumpers, not sure, definitely looks a different colour, light gold met??
