Why is there so many HQ Sandman panel vans out there and so very very few HQ Sandman Utes?

So many HQ Sandman vans ?
I've owned mine for 16 years and in that time looked out for any others I could find. That's half the reason I joined this forum. I havent seen very many at all. Less than a dozen all up would be my guess. Same for utes.

Utes are thin on the ground in all series of Sandmans. They just got worn out I guess. Plus I doubt they sold as many Sandman Utes as vans. Maybe also there are less people looking for them. It's all about vans these days.
