Buying a new car

No, I want to know how much one can expect to knock off floor price of a new car, or should I go for a mix of added extras at no cost.

Under normal conditions I have found if you shop around you could expect to knock off up to 3,4 or 5 k but I think the new release VF 2 SSV last of the holdens may not be 'normal conditions' if you know what I mean. Maybe too early to get any descent saving.
