All the mods to remove are:
Full length rear bar
twin headlight front
falcon mirrors
gas system
extra gauges in dash
steering wheel
Wheels
exhaust

The list goes on, but it's the original running gear so matching numbers.....which really only means something to a few people.

Also the rust is well spread, but no big deal for someone who works with repairing it every day

hard to pic something up that doesnt have the above mods. Like you say atleast they are easy fixes.

Boy they really screwed that fascia...... funny, I have a black Premier steering wheel on my Sandy....

Does it have forced air ventilation or has the dash been changed? .... rare to see a HJ Sandman with the 4 vents as factory

Will find out some more history on this van and see what has been changed and what was factory. As far as i can tell the people i bought it from have had the car for many years so it may be pretty easy to work this one out.

Sorry mate, didn't get pics of the pipes.

The dash pad is quite sun faded and cracked so I don't think it's been changed, if thats what you were referring to?

Funny, the HJ ID plates on my website off a 1900 coloured Sandman also came off a van destined for the scrapyard. Well it was in a scrapyard. Difference is I left it there as it was too rusty (in those days!). Today it'll pull $5,000 on Ebay. Only difference is it was a 308 M21 and 3/76 whereas yours would be an 11/75.
Can you post the chassis number for the Sandman database? Should be around BHJ20750B. I have a fair few holes in the database, and this one sits in the middle of one in chassis numbers - it would fill up a hole nicely!
