sandmans werent collectible before all the drivers of them when they were new started having mid to late life criseses..
then add to that the anility of restorations bought about by all the information available on the internet and you have all these people trying to make there sandmans perfect again.
actually you can broaden my statement to all restorers of collectible cars.
the removing of tags is a bullpg13 argument as to do a correct restoration you need to remove the tags for a couple of reasons.. to make the paint perfect ..or if your soda blasting or sandblasting they must be removed and to protect your tags from theft in the panelshop/mechanical shop or wherever your car may be out of your site while under restoration.
