restoring

g'day all being new to this i would like to know where to look for the chassis number on the chassis as i would not have a clue where to look
could someone point me in the wright direction

its on the drivers side rail on the flat section near the steering box..clean the area thoroughly and you should find it..i did have pics up in anther thread but it would appear i may have moved them..i will fix that tonight and put up a link.

ok thanks i found a number but is it ment to match any other numbers on the id plates if so how do i find them so i can see if mine match or not ????

right hand tag..drivers side has chassis number..they should match each other..:shifty:

ok but what one is it on the id tag ?

it will be something like AHX12345A on the bottom of the large tag on the drivers side cowl..if you need me to take pics tomorrow of what you need to look for yell and i will and post them up.
