    Thats a real pity. Holden finally make the best car they ever made (yes I know thats a can of worms but I mean as far as the commodore platform goes..) and its all over..

    Could have been a real contender on the world market...

    The new VF is a great car to drive and plenty of power in the 6.3 litre engine really happy with it
    its a dam shame GMH wont be around much longer

    Im guessing he means Holden as we know it, with our own commy etc. What we will be getting in the future will be a GM import rebadged as a commodore...

    On Friday 26/02/16 GMH announced that Cruze production would cease later this year, followed by the Commodore in October/ November 2017. That is the finish as most suppliers are already closing down or making alternative plans.The engine plant for V6 finishes in Port Melbourne this year, with next years requirements under production now. Both GMH & Toyota are watching the Ford closure in October this year to get a better idea of how it all happens.At the end of 2017 it will all cease as imported cars are bought in and possibly re-badged.
