    Wayne Marshals HQ Van.

Just got some photos of my friend Waynes HQ that he just got on the road.

Was originally a 202/3-speed, now a 308/4-speed with new black interior.

Chamois paint, Hotwires and an interior to come....DSC03653.JPGDSC03651.JPGDSC03648.JPG

    Yep Rob,

You must have a filter on your camera because unless HZ Chamois is different to HQ Chamois i'm seeing things

Still a schmick looking van though, would be happy to park it up if he needs a shed.

    Cheers

Yeah, he told me it was chamois and as we all know, there are a few different chamois tones. His panel beater/painter resprayed it after cutting out the small amount of rust it had, so he'd know. I'll get the paint code off the tag when I see him next.

This van was real close to being mine. It was on here for sale (or at least a link to the sale) about 6 months ago in Canberra or Queanbeyan and I was just about to grab it when I had a thought that I should ask Donna first (!?!? Brainfade!?). By the time I mentioned it to her it was sold.

The next day was our club run and Waynes brother was there. He told me Wayne had just bought a HQ van and I knew straight away that this was it.... anyway, he's a mate and I'm happy for him.

It's already a trophy winner too.... Best Unfinished at the South Coast nationals.
