Advice on WB/H model panel mix

Evening, can you fit a H series front with WB guards & bonnet ? Can you put a WB statesman dash panel/surround?? into a WB van but use the H series GTS facia/gauges?
Been out of this game too long. Thanks

Yes to the front panels. Seen this done a few times, the WB lower aprons has to be matched to the H series front panel. The way Ive seen this done was to cut the bottom off the HZ front panel & fold a section & line up so it bolts to the lower aprons. I think the radiator support is OK as is. The dash Im sure could work, but cant remember seeing it in a HZ. The under panel mounting of the dash are similar.
    Hope this helps, good luck

    cheers

WB Statesman dash and the sports dash are completely different.they both fit in but you can't mix and match the gauge clusters. The GTS dash was an option in WB too, not just the earlier series.
WB guards are cut off so you can't use them with an earlier front panel. You would need to add not cut off material. The bonnet is the same.

Correct. The pic that I have, has got WB guards and lower front apron and twin headlight upper.

If you're cutting the front off a hz guard to weld it to a wb guard, it'd be a bucket easier to just bolt on the hz guard.

The WB lower apron matched with WB guards and a H series noseccone is a sweet looking combination. Bit of cutting required but well worth it. It's a much neater lower apron. I've got one sitting out at the farm that a mate did for his WB until he went statesman front.

Thanks for the replies /advice, after spending 2 weeks in qld looking at vans, I'm heading back disappointed. Gumtree is a hell hole of scammers. Thinking about an old bosses wb service van waiting for me, always garaged, no rust & pick up a statesman for parts as the standard wb front doesn't do much for me.
    Appreciate the help
