    Prime candidate for warpage from the heat. Besides, you can tell from the inside if theres any rust or bog in that section.

    Any sand blasting or variants can cause panel warping in large flat areas. Most times those areas are left for the panel shop to strip via conventional means.

    I had mine bead blasted...no warpage....but then again he's been doing it for 30+ years as well and knows all the tricks.
    I know it can happen if you use garnet or sand but I wouldn't have thought soda would do it.

    Our panel beater knows that soda blasting doesn't heat it up to bend the panels, but reckons even the air pressure from the nozzle can bend the flat panels....He said he would rather clean the flat panels with paint stripper by hand instead of soda blasting, so we just went with his suggestions
