    Back together at last

    today Rodney and Adam put the guards, bonnet, and front end back on ready for spraying tomorrow night, and Sat...



    HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
    HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
    HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
    1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"

    the gaps look good...and its a much nicer yellow than before.lotsa rubbing before paint but..

    looking great jennie! Thats one thing i really hate, bad gaps. But yours look nice!

    I can't wait till i can find a decent radiator support. :cry: thats all thats stopping my build atm otherwise i recon that we would be about at the same stage. Cant wait to see some colour. Do you know if you are going to do a white undercoat first?

    Yeah Mook the radiator support panel was hard for us to find, Oz has them I think, we got one locally as I said before, it holds everything up if you don't have one too....yes while undercoat or more grey, it was on the doors, and tailgate, bonnet etc. will be painted by Monday if all goes to plan will post some pics up....gaps are good except Adam wasn't happy with the gap between the passenger door and the guard, just a bit wide, we are not bothered tho, coz she is old and is near enough to perfect I think

    you are spot o jennie, sometime we all forget that they are commercial vans at the end of the day.. it'll look better than it did the day it rolled out of the factory.

    you havent replaced the body rubbers have you?

    adam should have just undone the bolts to the body and given it a tweek ..that would fix the gap...:errf:
