Well done Damien great news. They are really going to be the future of motoring. I saw one at the Bacchus Marsh show and shine. It looked really great.

Hi Guys, just back in front of the computer now. Thanks for the kind words and to answer a few questions, yes i have signed an agreement so cant discuss anything sensitive and yes i would love to see something come out of Tesla that could be used on a Sandman van. My role is Senior Manager for Operations and Maintenance which is supposed to deal specifically with support for the Tesla Powerwall and Powerpack systems, but may get asked to help with cars from time to time.

I'm also hoping that the new Model 3 launch at end of this month is just as cool as the Model S and X cars....

Hi Cocko, Valencia. Yes i can see a wonderful idea for a power pack under a Sandman and that's just the project i can see happening on one WB van. Hmmm, i wonder if the second fuel tank location could house a power pack that could run A/C for 24 hrs without running the engine?

Congratulations Damien! what a cool job, you must be stoked! Its the domestic solar possibilities I imagine with the Tesla battery technology, I'm already convinced the cars are amazing.
