I hear what your saying WB but, in my opinion, on the contrary. I think if someone has any question about Sandmans this site will get the truth out. Even it it takes a while. That's why, I think, people come on here to get to the truth, whether it's pretty or not. Take this thread, as long as nobody oversteps the mark, it has seperated fact from fiction. That's what people want......don't they. Just my thoughts. Cheers

I started this because I was amazed at the price & it made me feel better about what I'd just paid for my restorers dream??! I purposely left off the "is this April fool on?"bit as I didn't want it to seem like a personal attack on the owner as I don't know him & was never my intention to upset anyone.
There's some great info here & I've never joined a forum or posted before, but wanted to contribute, the bit of a blow up about taillight surrounds was bad enough to make me think twice about posting the Cowra auction link. Anyway mods can burn? or close this thread if needed & I'm about to go "camping" for a few months so I won't be posting, I may lurk on a supply run.
