Well it pissed down in Melbourne on Saturday night. Was wondering why i had a lap pool in the passenger door of the 1 tonner so looked closer and found a bit of a problem with the rubber strip seal. The window mechanism was hitting it and twisted it, creating a perfect gap for all the rain to pour in. Bugger!!

I'd say the door drain plugs also need cleaning - you will always get a bit of moisture past the seals but it should run straight out the drain holes I the bottom of the door.Originally Posted by damienengland
Yes agreed Geopaj. I noted the water only ran out of the rear drain hole when i opened the door (our drive is sloped so the ute was sitting nose down). Will be cleaning the front holes out on the weekend. Cheers
