General help with some numbers.

ok, i've got a HP block that i was going to put in the van for something different but might look for a more correct dated block. The HP block has a date code of L18, or that's what it looks like, but the HT wasn't released until May 1969, any ideas or thoughts are appreciated

they must have started building them early if yours is november 68 and the pics i have that motor was feb 69...wasnt the ht release date held up for some reason?

308 was well developed and finshed by that stage. Probably were engines used in prototypes or even in HK's for testing. Remember GM-H never threw anything away, anything of use got used or sold.
