    Lightbulb hz resto

    in the process of restoring hz panelvan and only have double garage a rotisserie that allows the chassis to be rolled freely underneath it would be ideal has anyone seen or made anything to this description any help would be much appreciated

    Hi mate, I don't think such a thing would exist or be possible for the situation , at least not with the chassis length ways like it would normally slide under the body, primarily because the rotisserie supports are on the ground at the back and front, not to mention that if your putting the body only on the rotisserie then it is shorter than the chassis anyway.

    Yep... you'd need a 2 post hoist to lift the body and roll the chassis out, then lower the hoist and attach the rotisserie.
    And vice-versa for installation.
    Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

    You could make some brackets and attach trailer jockey wheels to wind the body up and roll the chassis out. Typically you would make the brackets attach to the door hinge bolts and the lower tailgate or bumper bolts.
    Obviously you need to space them so you can turn the jockey wheel handle. You might even delete the handle and attach a drill/driver with a socket to drive the worm gear.

    thanks innuendo i like your idea just worried if the door hinge bolt holes would be enough to carry the weight and not bend or twist body thanks for the insight cheers dan
