Thread: hi guys, wanting to know if my tags are a sandman van

    the small tag "vehicle i.d. plate" doesn't match the year of the "safety compliance plate"... someones mixed them up...

    No the VIN tag(Small tag rhs) is correct for a 1977 model, remember the MODEL year runs from September to August so a 10/76 is a 77 model year and should have G on the VIN. I think the 8L35LBL539877H could be a VL wagon VIN plate
    After doing some more searching, The extra Vin plate looks to be a 1982 Commodore Berlina Wagon with a 3.3 6 cylinder engine built in Adelaide. The 8L35 means a Berlina Wagon not a VL Wagon as I first thought.
