HZ T Bar Shifter Handle Original wanted for Turbo 400

Hoping someone may have and want to sell original T400 shifter for my HZ Sandman Ute like the picture. Mine is split around the screw hole so the button pops out. I've fitted an aftermarket replacement but it doesn't have the light touch of my original.

(Happy to take advise on repairing my original as well if possible)

Is it the button you have replaced?

I don't believe button has been replaced, car has been out of circulation since the 90's but anything is possible. I have been told T400 shifter handle is slightly different?

Wonder if you use the aftermarket 'T' handle with your old button, the notch may be worn smooth for that 'light touch' feel.

Other than that, I don't know.

I have had a handle off a turbo 350 and a handle off a turbo 400 they both looked the same to me, but I did not look that close either.

As far as I know there are different mechanisms under the console depending on which gearbox you have. One is linkages (350) and cable for the (400).

I just replaced mine the other week for the same issue (screw hole cracked) which allows the handle to pop up and then the gear selection is all buggered up. Got a new reproduction from Kingswood Country which fitted and worked perfectly. Was about ~$60 bucks from memory.

The T-bar handle in that picture is out of an HQ, not an HZ. The HZ handle doesn't have the small extension on the RH side, which just confuse the issue sits on the left when fitted to the car.
