What to replace GTS clock with?

    My GTS clock doesn't work.
It's the windings around the coil that are broken.
Has anyone replaced their clock with another type, or just left the buggered one in place?
    Thanks

I used a VDO one years ago but had to use a plastic shroud to sit it in as it was a little bit smaller than original

I'm keen to see what others have done also as I looked around a few years back (mine stopped working eons ago) and didn't come up with anything useful at the time.

Instrument services should be able to repair them if they are able to obtain parts

I did that years ago, pulled out non working clock & replaced it with a Smiths brand clock. looked like shit in G.T.S. dash compared to original one. Spend the money & get it fixed is my advice. If its buggered get onto Oz, im sure he'd have some for sale. If you cant find one, im pretty sure I could organise one around the place, is it white or yellow needle?

    cheers
