    Mine had a Smiths clock in it when i bought it with a Chrome surround. looks good!

    Each state usually has a good instrument repairer. in Victoria Howard instruments in Heidelberg, but they take time and not always lower cost. others may have their preference and could advise who to use.

    I must be one of the lucky ones my original clock in the HZ Sandman Ute works and keeps perfect time............but boy is it loud, it has a sort of Hum that you can't miss.

    Most are easily repaired if you are any good at soldering by replacing the dried out capacitors, replacement capacitors are available from Jaycar. I have done a few and they work fine with new capacitors or the occasional resistor.
