Mine had a Smiths clock in it when i bought it with a Chrome surround. looks good!
Each state usually has a good instrument repairer. in Victoria Howard instruments in Heidelberg, but they take time and not always lower cost. others may have their preference and could advise who to use.
I must be one of the lucky ones my original clock in the HZ Sandman Ute works and keeps perfect time............but boy is it loud, it has a sort of Hum that you can't miss.
I have two working clocks that I repaired, both white needle, let me know if interested?
What sort of dollars are you looking for a running one? PM if you like.
Dave
Nunc est bibendum...
Most are easily repaired if you are any good at soldering by replacing the dried out capacitors, replacement capacitors are available from Jaycar. I have done a few and they work fine with new capacitors or the occasional resistor.
