    Yep, lol, but why not just disconnect the battery? Big grin! Actually a thing I also love about the GTS clock hum (the one I used to sleep to is in the Kingy wagon) is that it tells me the battery is charged!

    Then I would have had to get out in the cold, find a spanner in the boot and get dirty hands disconnecting the battery.... much easier just to lever the clock out of the dash and pull the spade terminal off the back of the clock. VB Commodore the clock is a push fit in the dash.

    Most are easily repaired if you are any good at soldering by replacing the dried out capacitors, replacement capacitors are available from Jaycar. I have done a few and they work fine with new capacitors or the occasional resistor.

    Unfortunately the caps are not the issue in my case. It;s the coil windings that have broken.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
