I remember those, saved many headlights by having those fitted. Don't see them around anymore.

They are not a common item anymore due to halogen lights still working when the lens is cracked, the old sealed beams had a vacuum inside like a light globe and didn't work if they got a crack in them. Headlights are still an expensive item but most of the protectors on the market are model specific moulded plastic ones.

I have 2 sets for a twin headlight front, (Both types) and bubble ones for single headlights.
So, I think that they are great!!!

They were made illegal in the early 80's (in NSW at least). That really slowed down the sales.
