Summit and Jeggs. Has anyone used them?

Hi everyone,

I am looking at getting some parts from the U.S from these companies.

Has anyone had experience good or bad with them?

Have ordered a heap of stuff from Summit a couple of times inthe past. Pretty good to deal with but much easier over the phone than online/dealing with a third party. Some stuff (extractors, carby etc etc) got chucked in the boot of the car that I imported (dead easy, just got the bits sent to teh freight forwarder), the next time was via surface shipping which was a tad exxy but still not over the top for shipping charges. The last couple of years have seen freight costs skyrocket, ever since the $AUD went north while the $USD tanked at the same time.

Haven't dealt with Jeggs.

Havent dealt with either of those ...but use http://vpw.com.au/ for most of my stuff. They import parts from the U.S as well so might be worth checking them out. The prices arent bad if theyre getting stuff imported for you....generally works out cheaper using these guys. Sign up to their newsletter...they have sales on various bits and pieces few times a month.

I have used both from their direct websites. Really easy smooth transactions and they send me parts books every 3 months.
