    Im actually using the Supra 5 speed I already had so Im not using the T5. But I am using the same adaptor I had, just with a different connector. Theres a guy here in Ballarat who makes all this stuff. Costs around $120 too I think. He also does extension sections, and T or elbow pieces etc for tight fits into tunnels etc. He sends stuff all over Australia. Just a one man backyard operation but knows electronics and gears/speedos etc backwards.. He also rebuilt my Torana dash for my electronic ignition.

    This is it when I bought it for my commodore conversion.

    Well, I've purchased a fuel tank conversion kit and will hopefully end up with a 'hainzy special' at the end.

    On another note, I'm on the cusp of deciding to permanently shelve my finished blue 308/T400 combo (built for the panel van project), as a parts bin for the 1 tonner and do up the efi combo for the panel van. If so, then it needs to be a 355 stroker and looking on line, the stroker kits are wide and varied.

    Anyone got any experience on these kits and any brands to stay away from?

    X2!

    Any of the reputable ones are good - Harrop, COME, Scat etc.

    Damo Did you end up finding a throttle cable, I just realised I never got back to you after a mate of mine passed away. I do have it accessible if you still need it.

    Nice neat set up on the tank Hainzy!

    Looking at the same setup now and a conversion cable is $80+ original at firewall end and correct commodore the other I think it's autocables on eBay also getting a cable x driver from Cae to go from vs auto to drive gts speedo and a weld in fuel pump ring also from them .

    Have to find out if vt fuel gauge on pump will work with the Hz fuel gauge and I'll delete the original gauge/pickup pipe setup from side of tank also.

    Great idea Cocko750. Let us know, it would be good to just plug and play if possible. Also, i got my weld ring in the post yesterday...

    Update, hmm I think I've found the answer to the VT sender working with the HZ gauge. Looks like it wont work natively. See chart below;
