I have 2 tags and chassis number off Panelvan I have come across. Wondering if it is a sandman
Has console brackets, rear headlining bracket.
Maybe someone has some idea of build date.

bugger about the lack of other id tag. Without it its hardly worth doing anything with. There is no proof that the chassis is correct for it either...

black door handle. Rear hoodlining on a HJ base model. VERY good chance it was a sandman....
Only way to proove it was maybe to contact Ben at holden historical services.
He may have enough info to confirm things like the chassis being original or not.
GTS dash frame. Different in the HJ non GTS dashes. If it was a HX HZ it wouldnt be a good id. But in a HJ its a great ID.

What models have black door handles. I have XX7 HJ 5/75 sandman van with chrome handles. Did Adelaide build have black
Is the dash in this correct for HJ sandman. Interior had been changed at some stage there was a maroon glovebox etc should have been black.
I will contact Ben at HHS try get some info.

HX and HZ had black door handles. Didn't HJ have chrome?
I think Jason means that the standard dash frame in HJ had the strip speedo so it would be unique. The HJ Sports dash frame would be the same as HX/Z/WB?
HJ did have chrome handles
