The front wheel appears to be a Globeline and the rear a Armourlite. They had different push in fake rivets vs bolts and chrome vs black.
While they had their place in the 80's as a knock off of the American Centerline I'd have to say I'm with the others on this. As for brake cooling, don't think there is much to that theory it's a bit like don't paint your motor black or add chrome pieces or it'll run hot! Looks like you polished the outer lip and not the centres so much? At first look I thought you had chrome outers. Anyway I'd sell them on and put the cash into some different wheels.

Yes it needs lowering about a foot, she's a bit of an overlander. The right stance can set one car apart from another and improve the look a thousand percent.
