Was blue 4 speed 308 now yellow 4 inch paint brush job x shed at dubbo.

The guy i bought this ute off had some idea of history (but no idea it was a Sandman)
He explained that the guy he bought it from ripped the 308 out and put a 186 with a 3 speed in as he was using to drive from Dubbo to Sydney often.
She has since had a dulux rebuild and the obligatory bog job in the sills. Underneath,inside the tub and doors the Caribbean turquoise can be seen and gives a glimmer of what she once was and hopefully will be again soon.
Look forward to bringing her back and hearing that 308 rumble once more .....its been a while.
There is the possibility that its an XU4. Not an XX7 sandman.
Up behind the brake booster does it have an inline fuse? Red wire, white fuse holder?
