There was a company advertising metal reverse cowls in Just Parts.

In my opinion, the L-88 is the best looking bonnet scoop ever made ( besides the Pontiac Trans-Am shaker and the Ford XYGT shaker which are both just cool as hell) to mould into a bonnet. Some of the Brock VH & VK ones are also acceptable, but as in most accessories some look right and some look wrong depending on what they are fitted to.

That L-88 looks great Maysik! I can't wait to see it finished.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

    When its finished??? It is!

    Naaah just kidding.

This was purchased about 6 years ago and and put to the side as a job ,"Ill get around to it one day real soon".

Anyway since then it has been used as a mold/mould and we have produced a slightly lower more streemline looking scoop.

Basically where the white grind marks are it has been lowered that much and now fits the contour of the bonnet.

Ill get a pic up so Jaft can see as well, just another idea for him.

    Hi jaft,

The one that is cut down is what was made from a mould off my original scoop.

The scoop with the flanges is one that I purchased from a seller on evilbay.

    Hope this helps.
