    Just closed at $35,119

I was watching the last 15 or so minutes and it was really weird the countdown clock kept restting adding another 10 or 15 seconds every 30 seconds or so. Its my first time outside of ebay watching an online auction and not sure if this is normal. The other weird thing was it was always $2x,119 etc, always going up in $1,000 lots but still ending in 119. I don't know but wondered if the owner/auctioneer was bumping it. With the clock showing 26 seconds to go it jumped about $6,000 in quick $1,000 lots...maybe if you were a registered bidder you saw it differently but certainly not the way I'd like to buy.

One to watch out for and see if it appears for sale soon. I've seen other so called "unreserved" auctions that seem to end up still with the seller who then lists it privately??
Does make me wish I'd kept Blue Victorscan0002.jpg

LX Torana $40000, XU1 $29300, Brock VC Commodore $58500. There were a lot of outrageous prices for FB/C, HR etc. check out prices on Lloyds auctions.

Online auctions add time if bids are added at auctions death. This use to be true of Yahoo Auctions and Sold.com.au before ebay bought them out.
I can't remember if ebay ever did this but it wouldn't surprise if it once did.

The biggest stock auction sitei Australia,Auctions Plus, uses the same system. They re-set the clock if another bid is added. It gives the seller and the auction house the best price/commission.

The Torana result freaked me out, it quickly got to $30k + for a high mileage, 6cyl ordinary specimen ...then pushed out to $40k neat and sat there for a coupla days till close....maybe a knock out blow??

    Far out.

Buyers premium adds another $2500 to the price too. I reckon there'll be a few regrets had.
