    Utility Value opinion please

I have been nagging a lifelong mate for years to sell me his 84 WB Kingswood and unexpectedly he has agreed, if the price is right, now we need to agree on what it is worth. ( I may not be able to afford it though). He ordered it new and is as it came from the factory except for extractors and bull bar. 170k on clock. Zero rust, never been dinged, everything original including paint. What do you think it's value is.
    Cheers. Dave

Advertised correctly I reckon he'd probably have little trouble getting in the $15-20k region for it.

I don't think they're worth that (bought and sold mine for a LOT less) but I reckon there are enough buyers around that do.

1 owner and very clean original condition, price is going to be relative to emotional investment in this ute. However it looks fairly basic in the option department so i'll go maybe $15k max?

I'd say it has plenty of options; V8, 4 speed, floor shift, buckets, sports dash, metallic paint, sports wheels - about the only option missing is A/C! One owner with a known history is an added bonus. If you get it for $15, you'd have done very well.

V8 utes have made very good money at recent two Shannons auctions....

I got no idea on value, but that's a very nice looking ute. If Wb utes float your boat I'd ask the man what he wants and give him the money

Arm rests are correct. That's oyster trim the same as mine.
That's as good a WB Kingswood as you will find. Fully optioned less AC and power steer. Even got the N67 wheels. He must have put the 4.2 badge on the tailgate.
I have seen less optioned ones(no sports dash) sell for 20K. If you get it for that it would be well bought.
If you don't buy it you will forever regret it. It will go up in value. They have doubled in price in the last 5 or 6 years.

100% correct WB. I know the armrests are genuine, original and correct but didn't want to argue about it. You are also correct about the 4.2 badge, my mate told me he put it on as WB series didn't have engine identification. I didn't mention that part to see if anyone would notice. Thanks to everyone for their comments, I'll now have a chat to him about a price but it might just be a little too much for me at present unless I offload the VF Sandman. Cheers. Dave
