Well said Glacier....please no negative comments!!

Bathurst every year is my christmas....its the one day of the year that the family knows not to bother me or expect anything from me...ie getting my arse off the couch

Does anyone know what engine Nissan is using? Ive been told its a destroked Patrol V8....doesnt sound right if you ask me. Can anyone shed any light on the matter?

BTW, i think Benz will dominate when they arrive in 2013

    Rumors might be true then

I'm not up to speed with all the rules and regs, but i thought any competing manufacturer had to have a V8 production car to compete in the series!!!

Must admit, i'm pretty partial to the new Benz

Yeah I think your right , as a production car the Altima is a 2.5 v6 front wheel drive . If they did bring them out as v8 rear wheel drive they would be good I recon.

My bad they are 2.5 4 cyl or 3.5 v6

The V8 Supercar engine looks like a great bit gear

888 racing will be hard to bea. I think merc and Nissan won't go as well as you'd think in the first year. Might have some late season form though. Depending what drivers they can snatch up.

------- hope that wasn't too negative.

Maybe it will win back some of the fans who got sick of the two make racing. Was a bit like watching a football competition with only two teams in it. Actually what would be good would be if there was some natural dominance from one manufacturer to give a bit of real passion. Thats what made the touring cars great in the 70's and 80's. Actually that could really go for all sports these days.
