G'day Jack, that's a interesting question. The price of different painters, paint and what you want to get will vary greatly. I hope you will have got your car to 99% ready cause any rust, dodgy bog repairs or excessive sanding prep work will also cost big bucks. It's near impossible to guess what will come out of the painters mouth after he lays eyes on the job, or what he says he has to do. I am going to do all body work (lucky for me it's stuff all) and all prep work myself, buy the paint, then see if I can find a painter who wants to do a cashie on the weekend or after hrs. If that fails, I might do a 7hr crash youtube course, buy a good gun, lug a good compressor into my shed and see just how bad a job I can do then ask how much for a pro to fix it![]()
