Remember a Sandman was not anything special to GMH. It was really a niche product / marketing tool. It is just a normal ute or van with bolt (or stick) on's pulled from other models or bits deleted. GMH probably made less money per unit than they did with a standard one. They got no special treatment whatsoever except maybe for the metallic colours on some series, decals on HX/HZ and a few blackouts. The only unique-to-Sandman part that I can think of is the horn badge on a HQ (stripes aside).
