VH will be more collectable down the track. Always loved the VH. Had a 5lt auto SLE that i should never have sold, owned by one old lady prior to me.![]()

I have been keeping an eye on the VH and VK there prices have gone thru the roof over the last 12 months
try finding a VH SS for under 30K even the 4.2 litre ones are getting up there now
food for thought ?
Well.... a one owner Club Sport is what will be desirable to younger generations in twenty years time. I think a SLE is popular now. No matter what people think now, it's always the fastest version of a car that generates the most collectibility. A Clubsport is a lot faster than a SS for example. A VH Brock is worth more than a SLE. Keep the Clubsport I say.
Depends how long you keep it I guess.
Really it should depend on what you want more now rather than speculating.
im thinking the models that more people owned/could afford to own ie SS, may attract more interest. Old HSV's with exception of small batch special editions don't appear to be very collectable

I know what's ahead............no more Aussie made rear wheel drive V8's. That's the starting point. And slowly they will disappear, just like every other model has. At my age it doesn't really matter but if you're a Holden V8 enthusiast and your say thirty and under, you'll notice it and at some point in your life I can guarantee you'll be heard saying "I could have bought plenty of those V8 bla bla bla for only bla bla bla !! Bit like the block of land we all remember we could have bought twenty years ago for 30k and now it's selling for 500k. Bugger!!
Disclaimer: I am not an expert.
Already sold out. So who here got one.
