Sorry for the tardiness in getting back, I do appreciate the help. (few local issues to deal with).

Ok, followed all suggestions, turned out to be pilot error: -me-.

Just to make sure I had the alt. bench tested today, all good there, worked perfectly.

I had the power wire from battery correct, but I think I had the Alt light wire on the incorrect pin and I did not have a return wire from another pin back to the power connector post at the rear of Alt.

Should be all good to go now.
